The Prayers of the Falling
I Love the Lord because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me,therefore,will I call upon him as long as I live.The sorrows of death compassed me,and the pains of hell gat hold upon me; I found trouble and sorrow. Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Gracious is the Lord, and righteous;yea., our God is merciful. The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

Hedges and ByWays of Life Ministry will begin its Homelessness and Meal Project.

Hedges and ByWays of Life is seeking Volunteers and Help from the community of Home owners who would be willing to open up their Homes temporarily to help those who are temporarily homeless. This program is geared to women and children who have been abandoned because of spouse abuses, lack of income, lost of jobs and have been forced out of their homes. The qualification consist of: non criminal incidents or activities that have not become a major court issue, which also includes half –way houses detainees.
Hedges and ByWays of Life Ministry is also seeking a building that will provide a food pantry and meals for those who are in need of food and a meal. Both projects will become the next targeted mission of this ministry. Please continue to pray for this ministry to begin this important work as we continues to help each other. To volunteer please sign up.

Some of the most important people in the city of Richmond, Virginia are those who are in need of a second chance and a second hope for a better future. Our goal is to target immediate concerns that have become a major hindrance to family values, youth success and community cohesiveness and provide technical assistance, special services and structural advice.
Will you consider helping us by giving to the needs of those who won’t a better and brighter future? Your investment or donation of $25.00 or more weekly , monthly or annually will enable us to plant community houses involve in various community services, projects and programs that will promote job retention, family value, educational responsibility and community responsiveness. What are we about?
Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Rev. Alan Chris Parker, the founder of Hedges and ByWays of life Ministry in Richmond/Henrico, Virginia and Vicinity where we are spiritually called to help, assist and provide the necessary dynamics that will cause positive change in an individual’s life and in the community.
Hedges and ByWays of Life Ministry exists to become not only an information center for many in the community but will enable others to gain access to programs that will help them to become whole and important to themselves, their families and a valuable asset to their community and this city. Hedges and Byways of Life Ministry also will help in providing needed services and develop programs that will include meaningful solutions to an individual’s life, causing them to become more responsible and productive.
Too often those who are seen less productive and without hope are the many who for many reasons began this malingering of being less competitive in a society which requires an act of determination in order to achieve successful results.
Many impoverished communities must also reach an awakening level of independence and self reliance. To do this they will need the help of Hedges and Byways of Life Ministry along with others who provide a hand up instead of a hand out.
It is increasingly important that those who have lost hope engage in meaningful conversation that will cause a different attitude and outlook on their present situation and condition. In order for one to leave a situation of lack they must make a conscious effort to move forward toward a situation of empowerment which will permanent change their life and situation.
Through our Help/Save program at Hedges and ByWays of Life Ministry we will help many to understand that we are responsible for actions and the choices that we make. . The world which we live, does not mandate a status quot society, but instead we are given a set of choices that causes both negative and positive results.
At Hedges and Byways of Life Ministry we will help those who have made bad choices understand that all bad choices can be reversed as long as there is a commitment to change.
As we forge forward in this ministry we are forever reminded what Paul told the church in Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me".
